I’m different.

It took me a good portion of my life to embrace this fact, but it’s true.

That’s what happens when you grow up in a traditional asian household in a conservative non-asian area and then go into a liberal artistic field.

You get a practical mind twisted with a creative soul. It is my personal yin and yang. Go figure. I’m not claiming it is incredibly unique, I just understand it in my own way.

I was unlike the people I grew up around in the So Cal suburbs. I am unlike the people I work with in our crazy industry. But yet, I understand them all because they are all a part of me.

Why is this so important, you ask?

It’s important because all the things that I am and am not helps me best formulate what is at the heart of all media: messaging.

It is having a marketing mind with a filmmaker’s ability to understand and reach any type of audience.

And that’s my goal: to help people visually communicate and understand each other a little bit better.

Let me know if I can help.
